“Speak up, speak out, get in the way.
Get in good trouble, necessary trouble,
and help redeem the soul of America.”
John Lewis
Things you need to make good trouble
Most people want to speak up for their rights, stand up for their freedoms, and support their fellow Americans. Unfortunately, most people also don't know where to start.
We've put together the following resources to help you coordinate with your fellow Americans, learn your rights, and how to make good trouble.

The Black Book

This booklet will help anyone who carries it to become familiar with their rights, to recognize when their rights are being violated, and to have the information they need to act to protect themselves and others.
This summer, Dunk the Vote is responding to attacks on voting rights by getting this vital information into the hands of as many people as possible.
Check it out by visiting DunkTheVote4Ever.org for The Black Book in English & Spanish or to purchase physical copies.
Good Trouble is inherently... Good. So be good out there!
A core principle behind Good Trouble Lives On mass-ively is a commitment to nonviolent action.
We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events.
Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.
