About LOVE, JOY & POWER: TOOLS FOR LIBERATION
LOVE, JOY & POWER: TOOLS FOR LIBERATION (LJP) is a feature length documentary about the co-founders of the Black Voters Matter Fund, Cliff Albright, April England Albright and LaTosha Brown, the work they do to empower African American communities especially in the rural south, and the crucial role they played in flipping Georgia from red to blue in the 2020 Presidential election and the 2021 Georgia Senate Runoffs.
The film also delves into the backlash and the terrifying, racially based threats they faced while doing this vitally important work.
Love, Joy & Power is more than a documentary. It's a call to action, a roadmap for organizing and a reminder that ordinary people have the power to change history.
